He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Barber and Hazel Barber Sr.; and his grandparents, Albert, Della Thomas, Ernest Johnson and Irene Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Barber, Crystal Christophe (Wayne) and Christy Barber; and his grandson Donovan Champagne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
