It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Boyd Jr. (Breaux Bridge, Louisiana), who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Nancy Boyd and Rachael Boyd; his parents, Mitchell Allen Boyd and Edmira St. Julien Boyd; and his siblings, Alton Boyd, Octavia Boyd and Harrison Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Champagne Boyd; his children, Gary Boyd (Lisa), Craig Boyd (Sarah), Sheila Boyd, Rebecca Williams, Danielle Dalcourt (Leo) and Melanie Johnson (Jamar); his siblings, Joseph Boyd, Peter Boyd (Virginia), Hilda Boyd, Rita Boyd and Mildred Boyd; and his grandchildren, Daja, Gary Jr., Kayla, Dylan, Trey, Kiara, Amber, Keith, Aaron, Chazz, Geoffrey, Jamar "Andrew", Laila, Brooklyn, Miya, Nyla and Riley. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
