She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Barber; her children, Leroy Wiltz, Doris Roman and Laurie Hypolite; her mother Mary Louise Alexander John; her granddaughter Denise Derousselle; her great grandchild Colvin Barber; and her great great grandchild Cortney Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Carroll Barber (Eleria), Darrell Barber (Carlean), Alda Mae Barber, Hilda Spencer (Earl), Anna Barber, Alice Malone (Melvin) and Eva Mouton (William). She is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; and 57 great-great grandchildren.
