He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Sonnier of Branch; his children, Jacob (Candace Sonnier) of Lafayette, Jessica (Craig Houston) of Rayne and Jen (Edward Moronta) of Lafayette; his siblings, Charles Otis Sonnier, Jr. (Rebecca) of Church Point, Norma (Lawrence Olivier) of Carencro and Linda McBride of Church Point; his father-in-law George Matte of Branch; and his grandchildren, Emmalina, Carson, Leighanna, Niesi, Edwarnis of Eduardo, Wyatt and Olive.
