We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2022, at the age of 87, James Emile Johnson of Braithwaite, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile James Johnson and Alma Alonzo Johnson; and his wife Sybil Jones Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Jymme Johnson Strander (Blaine); his grandsons, Shane Strander and Tristan Ranatza (Asherly); and his great grandchildren, Sage Ranatza, Deaglan Ranatza, Amariyah Ranatza and Octavian Ranatza.
