He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otis Morace and Thelma Marie Smith Thiels; his brother James Donald Morace Moore; and his daughter Debbie Davis. He is survived by: his wife Shelia "Kermit" Morace; his daughters, Pat Robinson of Lake Charles, LA, Tracy Pickering and Rhonda Robertson; his siblings, Benjamin "Pete" Morace of Montgomery, LA and Rebecca Bradshaw; and his mother-in-law Ora Wilkerson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
