She was predeceased by: her husband Ives Lavern "Red" Cargle of Shriner's Organization; her children, Sheri Diane Cargle Womack, Verna Marie Gilchrist and Ives Lavern Cargle, Jr.; and her parents, Willis Dickerson and Mary Dickerson.
She is survived by: her son Lee Cargle, Sr.; and her siblings, Alices Barrios, Anita Bellieu and Ernest Dickerson. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens - Woodworth (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301).
