He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Rosa McCoy; his son Keith Andre McCoy; his mother Marie McCoy, Sr.; his siblings, Hebert McCoy, Jr., Johnny W. McCoy, Inez McCoy Atkins and Sadie McCoy Randle; his granddaughter T'Shaka McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Destinee Piper and Shantyra McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Deacon Kevin V. McCoy (Dorothy), Jacqueline McCoy of Boyce, LA and Jeburnon McCoy-Williams (Michael Paul) of Boyce, LA; his daughter-in-law Martha McCoy of Boyce, LA; his sister Stella Creighton (Abraham) of Los Angeles, California; and his godchildren, Deacon Dewitt Quinney (Ethel Bea), Felisa Johnson (John) and Candace M. King. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Henry's spiritual foundation began, by his accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, at the Mount Triumph Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Joseph W. Franklin.
