He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Lee and Marjorie McKinney Jarrell. He is survived by: his wife Ofilia R. Jarrell; his daughters, Marjorie Whitson (Jared) and Rosa Jarrell; his sister Lana Havens (Curtis); and his grandchildren, Quentin Jarrell, Iliana Castrejon, Vincent Jarrell and Harleigh Whitson.
