He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Voss and Sibyl Coffman Voss; and his siblings, Carl Voss, Marlene Owens, Mary George and Hobert Voss.
He is survived by: his former wife Ellen Rosalie Smith of Dexter, Missouri.; his wife Claudia Voss; his children, Robert Voss, Donnis V. Yancey (Turner), Sandra V. Fennel (Keith), Linda V. Smith (Gordon) and Judith L. Thompson (Truitt L.); his siblings, Billy Ray Voss, William Voss and Gevaunna V. Maddox; and his grandsons-in-law, Cameron and Josh W.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
