It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billie Cooper Jeansonne of Boyce, Louisiana, born in Glenmora, Louisiana, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton John Cooper and Willie Bell Cooper; her son James Goodwin; and her sisters, Mary Jeanette Hawn, Thelma Jowers and Patsy Clydine Gordon.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Jeansonne; her children, Mark Jeansonne, Brian Jeansonne, Jeffrey Jeansonne, Eric Jeansonne, Scott Jeansonne and Patsy Raila; and her siblings, Sammie Durand, Joyce Lawrence, Martha Durand and Robert Cooper. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
