She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Gassen and Catherne Fields Gassen. She is survived by: her close friend Russell Folse; her children, Richard Matherne Jr. (Melinda) and Rychel Daniels (Jesse); her grandchildren, Bryce Daniels, Calleigh Matherne, Emma Daniels and Isabella "Izzy" Matherne; and her siblings, Michael Gassen, Phyllis "Fi" Ferraro and Cindy Street.
