She was predeceased by: her husband Lindberg Joseph Plaisance, Sr.; her sons, Lindberg "LJ" Plaisance, Jr. and David Plaisance; her grandson Eric Hebert; her parents, Abel, Sr. Dufrene and Elmire Gautreaux Dufrene; her daughter-in-law Judy Plaisance; her siblings, Voris "VJ" Dufrene, Ella Mae Davaine and Rosalie Keller; and her siblings-in-law, Audrey Dufrene, Johnny Davaine and Wilton Keller.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Plaisance (Edith), Allen Plaisance (Anne), Jody Plaisance (Cheryl), Selma, Oubre (Faron "Bayou") and Maria Pender (Mike); her brother Abel; and her daughters-in-law, Leslie Plaisance and Faith Plaisance. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren and 56 Great grandchildren.
