He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Liechenstein and Ida Cartwright "Dot" Liechenstein. He is survived by: his wife Suzie Lichenstein.

Robert had a devotion to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the family request donations to be made in his honor; Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, LA, and Louis Infant Center or the McDonald House.
