He was predeceased by: his parents, Paola Joseph Sr. and Ezilda Charpentier Lyons; his siblings, Richard Lyons Sr. (Judy), Michael Lyons, Sr., Della Lapeyrouse (Walter) and Wilda "Teesie" LeBoeuf (Willis "Bay"); his parents-in-law, Elie and Walterine Brunet; and his siblings-in-law, Errol James Picou and Mary Lee Lyons.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Ann Brunet Lyons; his son Jason Paul Lyons (Vicky); his stepgrandson Troy J. Marcel; and his siblings, Paul Lyons (Irene), Julius Lyons, Berton Lyons, Sr. (Joann), Malcolm Lyons (Sadie), Felicia Lirette (Wilton Jr.) and Vera Picou.
