He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bergeron and Odessa Bergeron; and his siblings, Irby "Bubby" Bergeron, Laban Bergeron and Dolores Domangue.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Bergeron; his children, Sherry Hitt and Patrick Bergeron; his stepdaughter Melanie Trahan; and his siblings, Chris Bergeron and Charlene Labat. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
