She was predeceased by: her husband C. J. Hernandez; and her siblings, Michael Charpentier, Jimmy Charpentier and Sherry Charpentier. She is survived by: her children, Mary Pitre (Barry Gaubert), Sylvia, Syl, Estay and Dane Hernandez (Jane Faulk); her siblings, Dale Charpentier, Arlen Charpentier (Clara) and Dwitha Griffin (Steve); her grandchildren, Thea Arnold (Brent) and Marcel Estay; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Brennon, Adyson, Braxton and Dawson Arnold.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary of Poitier Catholic Church (333 Twin Oaks Dr, Raceland, LA 70394). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery (401 Cypress St, Raceland, LA 70394).
