He was predeceased by: his wife Constance Pinero; his son Joseph "Joey" Pinero III; and his mother Edith Browne. He is survived by: his children, Brian Pinero (Joan), Destin Pinero, Donna Wedgeworth (John Chapman) and Desiree Billiot (Dale); his grandchildren, Courtney Wedgeworth, Sarah Wedgeworth, Rory Hamer, Blaise Pinero, Conner Pinero, Duncan Pinero, Heather Dardar and Jake Billiot; and his siblings, Edward Pinero and Mary Ruppert (Charlie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
