He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Prosperie and Thelma Deroche Prosperie; his siblings, Barbara Lewis (John) and Richard; and his brother-in-law Clyde Arceneaux.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Blanchard Prosperie; his children, Annette Harris (Todd), Beth Redmond (Shawn) and Dale (Dawn); his grandchildren, Cody Webb (Kaitlan), Beau Prosperie (Sydne), Blake Prosperie (Lauren Verret), Jonathan Guillot, Cullen Redmond, Jeremy Harris and Cassidi Redmond; his great grandchild Finley Webb; his sisters, Peggy Pitre (Ruble) and Sherry Levron (Dale); his godchildren, Byron Lewis, Mike Blanchard and John Hornsby; his siblings-in-law, Roy (Joan), John (Wanda), Joe (Becky), Robert (Tiffany), Mike Blanchard (Sharal), Charlotte Prosperie, Janet Hornsby (Hanson), Mona Arceneaux, Elaine Hutchinson (Robert), Joyce Dill (Robert), Rosena Porche (Kevin) and Anne Plaisance (Allen); and his caregivers, Monique, Bailey, Colette and Deacon Jimmy Brunet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann Catholic Church in Gail's name for masses.
