It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elie Ledet of Bourg, Louisiana, born in Westwego, Louisiana, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elie Joseph and Elda Marie Ledet (Bergeron); and his siblings, Mayola Plaisance, Cecila "Sis" Allemand, Margie Rodrigue, Curtis, Marvin, Frank, Russell, Albert and Harold Ledet.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Belle Ledet (Porche); his children, Connie Matherne (Don), Suzanne Duplantis (Allen), Robyn LeBlanc (Kenneth) and Terry Ledet (Kelly); and his sisters-in-law, Eve Ledet and Lorine Ledet. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
