He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Moore Leonard; his parents, William Leonard Sr. and Rita LeBlanc Leonard; his siblings, Nelson Leonard, Billy Leonard, Johnny Leonard, Carold Leonard and Julie LeBouef; his parents-in-law, Raymond Moore Sr. and Bessie Zeringue Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Moore Jr. and Isabelle Stelly.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Joseph Leonard Jr. (Darla), Stacie Stipelcovich (Peter) and Amanda Charpentier (Francis); his siblings, Herbert Leonard, Harold Leonard, Bobby Leonard, Lisa Thibodeaux and Judy Chaisson; his grandchildren, Adam Leonard III, Starla Leonard, Ambyr Stipelcovich, Jamie Stipelcovich and Hunter Charpentier; and his sister-in-law Meryl Stanford. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
