Shirley A. Carmical Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Carmical of Bossier City, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hill Carruth Steadman and Rephael Grider Stedman; her stepmother Alice Steadman; her half-brother Frank Steadman; her brother-in-law John Trussell; her grandchildren, Christian Seth Carmical and Brianna Faith Carmical; her son-in-law Ben Foster; and her grandson-in-law Kris Petty.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lohnes, David Carmical (Patti) and Pam Foster; her grandchildren, Jennifer Tharpe (Corey), Michael Foster (Beth), Benjamin Foster (Allison), Wendy Petty and Rebecca Bogan (Cody); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Tharpe, Baleigh Tharpe, Brantley Tharpe, Mae Foster, Laney Foster, Lottie Foster, Anna Claire Foster, Lillian Foster, Cole Foster, Madeline Petty, Ainsley Petty, Ava Bogan, Adley Kate Bogan, Collin Carmical and Emmalyn Carmical; her sisters, Eloise Mann of Warren and Robbie Trussell of Palm Desert; her niece Diane Parnell (Steve); and her nephew John Trussell (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. During Covid and after, they continued to meet each Sunday via telephone conference, and she looked forward to this time each week.
