It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hovingh of Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Hovingh and James Hovingh; his sister Arlene Purdie; and his stepdaughter Shannon Rupert. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hovingh; his grandson Chance Rupert; his siblings, John Hovingh (Janice) and Marlene Cooney (Stephen); his nieces and nephews, Ronnie Adams, Jackson Purdie, Rebekah Smith and Melissa Purdie; and his great-nephews, Jeremiah and Steven Adams. He is also survived by his family and friends.
