Pattie Berry Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pattie Berry Smith of Bossier City, Louisiana, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Pattie Berry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Pattie Berry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Deffie Clay "Pat" Berry and Ida Lee Harper Berry; her son David Thomas Smith; her husband James M. Smith; and her sisters, Carol Nan Berry and Sarah Hays Morrow.

She is survived by: her son Stephen Smith (Lynda) of Lake Jackson, TX; and her brother William C. Berry (Mary) of Sykesville, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA.
