Pamela Lanee Smoak Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pamela Lanee Smoak in Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Pamela Lanee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Pamela Lanee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Olene Hurst and Clarence Hurst; and her brother Loren Hurst. She is survived by: her husband Richard Smoak; her son Gordon (Rachel Smoak); and her siblings, Lonnie Hurst and Nettie Gibson.

In lieu of flowers the Pamela Smoak memorial fund has been established through Global Missions, United Pentecostal Church International, with proceeds being used for a Bible School, national headquarters building, and orphanage in Tanzania in her honor.
