She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kalnasy Sr. and Doris Ball McAfee; her brother David Kalnasy, Sr.; her stepfather Irving "Rudy" McAfee; her brother-in-law Haithem Bader; and her niece Layla Bader.
She is survived by: her husband Youssef Helwani; her son Joshua James Plunkett (Emily McMillan); her grandsons, Jaxon Plunkett and Brayden May of Benton, LA; her siblings, Andrew Kalnasy, Jr. (Debbie) of Austin, TX, Ernie Kalnasy, Sr. (Sandy) of Benton, LA and Kathy Kalnasy Bader of Yelm, WA; and her sister-in-law Cindy Kalnasy of Benton, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auld's Funeral (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (6103 W 70th St, Shreveport, LA 71129).
