She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubin Newton Jones, Sr. and Cora Scriber Jones; her husband Jerry Weems; her grandson Jon Cole Harris; and her sister Irma Armstrong.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Weems Harris (Scott) of Bossier City; her brother Rubin Jones, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR; and her granddaughter Sydney Harris of Albuquerque. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 600 Cemetery Rd, Springhill, LA 71075.
