It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawanda Anderson O'Hara of Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Hope, Arkansas, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Anderson and Ola Martin Anderson; her son Patrick A. O'Hara; and her sisters, Linda Raspberry, Mary De Han and Daine Brunina.
She is survived by: her husband John A. O'Hara; her daughters, Scarlett O'Hara Smith (Scott) and Jennifer O'Hara Blanton (Greg); her grandchildren, Caleb Scott Smith, Darbee Delaney Blanton and Chazz Gregory Blanton; her brothers-in-law, Peter I. O'Hara and John Garofalo of Freehold, NY; and her siblings, Evelyn Skinner of Dallas, TX, Robbie Gibson (Tony), Mark Anderson (Judy) and Kenneth Alyett (Pat). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (425 McCormick St, Bossier City, LA 71111).
