It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavon G. Pruitt Smith (Bossier City, Louisiana), born in Sibley, Louisiana, who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Chuck Smith; her son Anthony Pruitt (Tony); and her siblings, Donald and Sue. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Charly Dew (Levi) and Cady Pruitt; and her great grandchild Paxton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family request donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
