With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine C. Peters (Bossier City, Louisiana), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Capuano and Lena Alenzi Capuano; her husband Sam Roy Peters, Jr.; her son Tommy R. Peters; her granddaughter Melissa Rose Maggio; her siblings, Mary Capuano Peters (Sam), Vesta Capuano Peters (John), Flora Capuano, Roy Capuano (Sue), Vince Capuano (Rose) and Sam Capuano (Frances); her nephews, Mickey Capuano and Joe Roy Peters; and her sister-in-law Connie Peters.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Peters Maggio (Vince); her grandchildren, Sara Jo Maggio Williams (Dusty) and Brandon Peters; her great grandchildren, Grayson Williams, Joleigh Williams and Gemma Williams; and her pet Millie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (425 McCormick St, Bossier City, LA 71111). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (425 McCormick St, Bossier City, LA 71111). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
