He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, John Allen (Mary), Stephanie King (Greg), Delores Gollow and James Cole; his grandsons, Jason Griffin, Bret King (Angie), Michael Gollow (Hannah) and Cody King (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Abby, Ellie, Callie, Luke, Carter and Anderson; his siblings, William Cole, Elizabeth Watkins and Polly Haring; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Cole.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
