He is survived by: his wife Bennye Joy; his daughters, Patricia Hines (Bentley) of Shreveport, LA and Pamela Melancon of Shreveport, LA; his brother Robert (Clara) of Tuttle, OK; his grandchildren, Glen Melancon of Shreveport, LA, Aaron Melancon of Shreveport, LA, Jonathan Hines (Erika) of Katy, TX, Elizabeth Hines Van, Werff (Paul) of Doha Qatar, Chad Taylor of Florida, Shawn Taylor (Malinda) of Lugoff, SC and Sarah Taylor Crysel (Chris) of Walworth, NY.; and his sister-in-law Letha Petrocelli. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
