With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E Strong (Bossier City, Louisiana), who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd C. Strong and Bessie M. Stuart Strong; and his siblings, Charles, Vera and Kate.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Strong; his children, Robert, Ronald, Donald "Billy", Linda, Cindee, Gaye, Trudy and Donna; his sisters, Nadine Avery, Bessie Margaret Wolfe and Joyce Elaine Crabb; and also Marvin Dean Strong. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boone Funeral Home and Crematory (2156 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital or the charity of your choice.
