He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus L. Smith and Lucille Brantley Smith; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Smith. He is survived by: his sons, James "Jim" Smith (Lisa) and Jason B. Smith (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Haden C. Smith (Ada) and Korbin J. Smith of Benton, LA; and his sisters, Caroline Sims (Frank) and Judy Parker (Tyrone). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
