He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Wentworth Sr. and Ruth Argery O'Brien; his wife Dorothy Laverne Willis; and his siblings, Fred Leroy, Jr. (Sonny), Marjorie Ruth and Robert Leroy.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Wallace (Jason), Ricky Wentworth, Wayne Wentworth (Tricia), Tommy Wentworth (Carrie), Timmy Wentworth and Audrey Besch (James); his grandchildren, Heather Wallace, Jennifer Wallace, Madison Sullivan (Tyler), Dylan Brossette (Jami), Cheyenne Vascocu (Andrew) and Kristin Brillo; his great grandchildren, Noah Brillo, Alden Brossette and Everett Brossette; and his caregivers, Jerome, Saundra, Shuwanika and Monica.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Cemetery (5185 Swan Lake Rd, Bossier City, LA 71111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2947 Duncan Dr, Shreveport, LA 71119.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to either the American Lung Association or the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program.
