She was predeceased by: her mother Tammy Marie Nicholson Gibney; and her grandparents, Agnes Louise Nicolson, William J. Gibney, Sr. and Shelby N. Gibney. She is survived by: her father William James Gibney, Jr.; her husband Austin Woods Askew; her sons, J. Carter Askew and Ryder Woods Askew; and her grandchildren, Ember Woods Askew and Paxton Reign Askew. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family suggests memorials or donations may be made to Carter Askew and Ryder Askew at Austin Askew, 4111 Courtland Way Benton, Louisiana 71006.
