He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father William Eber Thomason; his siblings, Donnie, Larry, Glen, Bill and Cindy; his daughter Christina Jean Thomason (Justin Hall); his grandson Christian Joseph Thomason; his mother Donna Jean Benner; his brother John David Thomason (Joe); his half-brother Danny Andreasen Sr. (Shawn Andreasen); and his close friend Judy Lynn Hrdlicka (Tony Hrdlicka). He was also cherished by his family, friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cross Point Baptist Church (3140 Swan Lake Rd, Bossier City, LA 71111).
