The passing of Carol Sue Thacker of Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Peru, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 24, 2024 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Brian Thacker; her parents, Herman Dorman and Harriet Dorman; and her siblings, Shirley McClure and Howard Dorman.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Jason; her husband Bill (Carter); her daughter Christa Thacker (Jason Myers); her daughter-in-law Cheryl Mastroeni-Thacker; her siblings, Dixie Madsen, Lowell Dorman (Nedra) and Jim Dorman (Janis); and her grandsons, Joel, Philip and Justin Mastroeni. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, honoring Carol's commitment to helping those in need.
