It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Cooper of Bordelonville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Coston and Jodie Coston Gaspard; her daughter-in-law Sheila Bordelon; her grandson Bradley Bordelon; and her siblings, Eugene Gaspard, R. E. Coston and Margie Smith.
She is survived by: her son Roland "Eddie" Bordelon; her daughter-in-law Lolita Smith (Bert); her sister Irma Gremillion; and her grandchildren, Priscilla Bordelon, Pete Bordelon (Bridget), Seth Bordelon, Sara Armand (Cade), Jill Thalmann (Todd), Kirk Bordelon (Wendy) and Steve Smith.
Due to Covid Mandates, the funeral mass will be limited to 50% capacity of the church building.
