She was predeceased by: her son Lyle Edward Desselle; her parents, Abby Tassin and Hazel Tassin; and her sisters, Bernadine Lemoine and Eunice Ann Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Maxwell J. Desselle; her children, Marty Desselle (Jessica), Gerry Desselle and Erin Desselle LaCaze; her grandchildren, Abbie Hendley, Derek Desselle, Callie Davis, Sarah Helms, Olivia Duplechien and Michael Duplechien; her stepgrandson Gavin Cheek; her great grandchildren, Maddie Hendley, Margaret Hendley, Presleigh Hendley, Adley Desselle, Forest Helms and Corbin Davis; and her siblings, Rodney Tassin and Patricia Dowden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
