She was predeceased by: her daughter Ilene B. Johnson; her husband Harold J. Laborde; her brother Floyd Grimes; her parents, Frank Grimes and Alice Grimes; and her son-in-law Ross Armand.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Bordelon Moreau, Scott Bordelon (Jill), Allyson Bordelon Ludeau (Jesse) and Danelle Bordelon Muñoz (Manny); and her sister Nellie Grimes Reech. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
