With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winona Pollock Mitchell (Bogalusa, Louisiana), who passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Pollock and Ada Gonzales Pollock; her husband Corbett Louis Mitchell; and her siblings, James Pollock, Violet Brown and Theo Rickards.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Gatlin of Bogalusa and Corbett Louis "Chip" Mitchell, Jr. (Lynn) of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the state coordinator for the Blepharospasm Foundation many years.
