He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine George Swilley; his son Clyde Michael Swilley; and his siblings, Heldria Franklin Swilley, Helen Swilley Dunaway, Mildria Swilley George and Virginia Swilley Dunaway Day.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Swilley Bateman (George) and Jeffrey Scott Swilley (Paula); his granddaughters, Lindsey Swilley Bailey, Lauren Swilley Sevier, Leah Swilley Miley, Anne Bateman Moore, Sarah Bateman Peters and Katy Bateman Stark; his great grandchildren, Alex Moore, Hutson Moore and Sam Peters; and his close friend Taylor Williams. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Following Covid-19 guidelines, a private family service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 23rd.
