Wendy McClendon Powell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2021, at the age of 48, Wendy McClendon Powell of Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Holtzclaw; her stepfather Bill Holtzclaw; and her brother David Ernest McClendon. She is survived by: her sons, Stosch Powell (Ashley) of Sun, LA and Colby Powell of Bogalusa, LA; her granddaughter Harper Rose Powell of Sun, LA; her father Ernest McClendon; her stepmother Eleanor McClendon of Lumberton, MS; her siblings, Billy Holtzclaw (Tia) of Ellenboro, NC, Kyle McClendon of Houston, TX, Betty Baggett (Robbie) of Sumrall, MS, Lori Hunt (Corbet) of Lacombe, LA, Julia "JuJu" Knight of Angie, LA and Ryan Kaiser (Stephen) of Fort Meade, MD; and her aunt Polly McClendon of Bogalusa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
