He was predeceased by: his parents, Cynicus D. Tisdale and Edith Wood Tisdale; and his wife Denise B. Tisdale. He is survived by: his children, Barry Tisdale (Janet) and Terri Dawes (David); his grandchildren, Andrew Walter Tisdale (Emily), Dana Dawes Blanchard (Mark), Zach Dawes (Andrea) and Amanda Tisdale McDonald (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas McDonald, Caroline McDonald, Lena Blanchard and Walter "Walt" Tisdale.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
