He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chauvin and Esther Chauvin; his brother John Edward Chauvin; his daughter-in-law Melissa Chauvin; and his grandson Alexander Esteva.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Byers Chauvin; his sons, Vincent Chauvin, Jr. (Traci), Todd Chauvin (Trisha) and Paul Chauvin; and his siblings, Patrick Chauvin (Grace) and Loretta Vizzini. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
