She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Evans and Muriel Belcher Elder; her siblings, Ray Evans, Aileen Panrell and Margaret Sampson; her sister-in-law Phyllis Evans (JD Cargill); her former husband Holland (John Parsons); and her husband JD.

She is survived by: her brothers, William Evans and Lee Evans; her friend Peggy West; and also, Deborah Cargill and Daniel Cargill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the ESM United Methodist Church in Jean's name.
