She is survived by: her mother Carol Darden Smith; her children, Cardeja Burris and John Downey, III; her granddaughter Raina Burris; her siblings, Ramah Smith, Candice Brumfield of Bogalusa and Jasmin Riley of Bogalusa; her aunts and uncles, Tonia Collins, Etta Smith of Bogalusa, Sherry Landers of Dayton, OH, Rosetta Brumfield-Brown of Houston, TX, Dr. Raven Evans of Bogalusa, Joseph Magee of Bogalusa, Charles Darden, Jr. of Bogalusa and Larry Brumfield of Houston, TX; her niece Kai'Dynce McCree; her nephews, Amari Smith, Amir Smith of Covington, LA, K'Saan Smith and Ramahj Smith of LaPlace, LA; her godchildren, Arian Foster, Ta'Koyah Collins, Lyttron Burris of Grand Rapids and Tonyah B. Jefferson of Bogalusa; and her friend Janel Brown of Bogalusa. She is also survived by great aunts, uncles, cousins, her KREWE, classmates and friends.
