It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammy Carter Stewart of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeppy Carter and Bobbie Jean Carter; her grandparents, Edna Oca Fisher, Jep and Ola Mae Carter; and her father-in-law Robert W. "Bill" Stewart (LaVerygne).
She is survived by: her friend Tammy; her husband Terry Stewart of Bogalusa, LA; her son Carter Stewart (Megan Crain) of Angie, LA; her stepdaughters, Meranda Stewart of Monmouth, IL and Hannah Stewart Wells (Kyle Shealy) of Abita Springs, LA; her sister Pam Carter Capdeboscq of Bogalusa, LA; her grandchildren, Ayden, Emma, Ellie, Keagan and McKenna; her nieces and nephews, Niki Bowman (Trevor), Chris Fontenot (Denise), Alex and Luke Fontenot; her brothers, Densil Stewart (Joy), Steve Stewart (Caroline) and Janene Dunaway (James); her aunt Lea Hunt (Carolyn); her pets, Sofia, Opie and Teetee; and her friends, K. A., Jodi Hutchinson Lafranca, Denise Davis Scalco, Sherry Hobgood Richardson, Pam Taylor Ball and Cindy Caroll Lee.
In lieu of flowers, Tammy's family request that donations be made to the Washington Humane Society.
