With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruthie Jean Carden Thomas of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Arm, Mississippi, who passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Everette Carden and Clydie Mullins Carden; and her siblings, William Keith, Oliver Willis Carden, Mary Nell Carden and Carrie Mae Bessonette.
She is survived by: her sons, Wylie Ladner (Wanda) and Jesse "Elmo" Ladner (Sandra); her siblings, Kitty Ann Crummey, John Everett Carden (Jean) and Joe Will "J. W."; and her grandchildren, Valerie Smith, Wylie Ladner, Jr., Bo Nettles (Theresa) and Jennifer Barrett (Cody).
